About the role

This is an exciting and diverse role based at our bustling workshop in Berserker, QLD, and working closely with the owners of this growing business. The role is full time, including a shift every second Saturday. This role will support the business owners as their 2IC and right-hand-person, as well as being responsible for providing high quality mechanical work both in the workshop and on a mobile basis, and performing supervisory duties and leading the workshop team with customer satisfaction as a focus at all times. This role is a great opportunity for a suitably qualified and skilled lead mechanic to take on a permanent and rewarding role close to home, while being able to head home to your family each day.

What you will bring

You will be a mature trade-qualified mechanic with skills and experience in supervisory positions, including leading teams of other trades and apprentices. 

You have a full, unrestricted manual drivers' license, and are comfortable working both in the workshop, and on a mobile basis as per customer requirements.

You will be an Approved Examiner (AE) for QLD Transport Safety Certificate Scheme or willing to obtain.

You will be comfortable with technology, and able to pick up new digital technologies with ease, inputting bookings into our online booking system, and using mobile apps to create client cards and information.
