About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Mechanical/Portables Fire Technician to join our BSA | APS division in Darwin at the Itchys Inpex Gas Plant.

You will be responsible for servicing, repairs and testing of portable, hydrant, hosereel fire equipment along assisting the onsite Electrical Fire Technician with fire detection and evacuation systems to the relevant standards.

About Your Responsibilities
Conduct testing and inspection of all fire services
Carry out Smoke alarm/detection repairs
Inspect maintain & repair onsite fire systems.
Assist & co-ordinate Work Pacs provided for daily & weekly tasks.
Complete repairs of fire detection systems
Skills and Qualifications
Cert 2 in Fire Assets
Open Cabling licence (not essential)
Current and unencumbered Driver's license
OH & S General Induction White Card
Knowledge & Experience in the fire industry
Report writing using Word & Excel
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
