As part of our new Adelaide Service Delivery alliance partnership with SA Water to improve outcomes for its customers, we’re building an Adelaide Production & Treatment workforce responsible for operating five water treatment plans and five wastewater treatment plants.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The HR and Payroll Officer will be responsible for supporting the People & Culture team in an administrative capacity whilst also managing the fortnightly payroll process for the Production & Treatment workforce.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Accurate interpretation of digital timesheets for all employees
  • Accurate interpretation of Enterprise Agreements in relation to payroll
  • Liaising with appropriate personnel to resolve missing information or timesheets
  • Investigate and respond to any payroll queries in an informative and friendly manner
  • Process employee leave applications and prepare reports
  • Review and distribute pay slips to employees on time
  • Liaise with supervisors and senior staff on all payroll/processing issues
  • Ad hoc administration support to the People & Culture team as required


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are a customer focused payroll professional with an excellent eye for detail who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment where you are the main point of contact for all payroll queries.

The ideal candidate will bring their demonstrate experience in interpreting awards and EBA’s, well versed and up to date with current payroll legislation and employment law.
