The Position

Responsibilities

Key duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to

Elexacom is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, enthusiastic electrician that is customer focused and can become a long term member of the Elexacom team. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude.

  • Installation of power and lighting circuits, including installation of small to medium size switchboards and associated cabling in commercial and local and state government owned premises/facilities;
  • Working on local Government facilities, Schools and other Government buildings.
  • Fault-finding of electrical systems and circuits including internal and external circuits, such as external lighting and internal power circuits;
  • Adherence to safety requirements of the company and our clients and completion of all required safety paperwork and procedures;
  • Using Simpro and other internal IT systems to record job information, complete test sheets, lodge safety certificates and demonstrate compliance with regulations;
  • Mentoring Apprentice Electricians and providing guidance and support.
