We are looking for qualified and experienced Electrical and Mechanical Installation Supervisors for the successful realization of several customer projects in the area of electrics and mechanics.


  • Supervise Electrical and Mechanical installation of KNAPP’s intralogistic solutions.

Independent execution of all tasks involved in the installation of components and systems according to the installation layout:

  • Coordinate, supervise and lead electrical / mechanical project teams on site as part of a matrix organization
  • Safety: the supervisors are responsible for the safety on the electrical and mechanical installation site for all third-party components and associated fitters. Coordination with PC OHS manager
  • Assess skill set of local labour, assign task according to identified skill set and assure and oversee quality of work
  • Upskilling of local labour and instruction on KNAPP’s specific technology
  • Link to and coordination with other technical departments
  • Regular reporting to project management at KNAPP Headquarters
  • Oversee and manage local third partysuppliers and assure installations of third party equipment is according to Knapp documentation and Knapp quality standards
  • Customer training on components and training of local maintenance staff on the installed equipment and KNAPP technology.


Professional requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with KNAPP equipment and technology
  • Extensive network within KNAPP and across different departments and business units
  • Excellent knowledge of electrics / mechanics
  • Basic knowledge of control systems, measuring technology and startup (S7, Siemens)
  • Knowledge of the IT tools used in own area as well as those necessary for the fulfilment of the tasks
  • At least 1 foreign language and high skills in German
  • Experience in handling projects and leading personnel
  • Experience in reading and understanding Knapp specific documentation, layouts and schematics
  • Good organizational skills and capability of organizing high volumes of material on restricted floor space
  • Excellent knowledge of the KNAPP products and solutions and capability to explain
  • Several years of experience in installations and leading people
