KROHNE Australia is looking for a

TRAINEE WORKSHOP SERVICE TECHNICIAN - NSW

We are currently looking for a Trainee Workshop Service Technician to assemble, calibrate, service and repair our products. This position will be based at our Ingleburn warehouse.

The role:

Full training will be provided by KROHNE accredited service technician(s). 

Reporting to the National Service Manager, you will be trained in the following:

Assembly

• Assembly of new equipment from KROHNE engineered components

• Assist in the packaging of goods for distribution

Calibration

• Maintain equipment calibration register

Service and Repair

• Service, repair, replace, reconfigure and/or test, KROHNE products returned to the workshop

• Strip down and clean field-returned equipment

• Inspection and failure investigation - preparation of repairs quotations 

• Testing of repaired equipment

• Create simple procedures for customers

Reporting

• Create and maintain all service and repair information in the Company’s CRM database.

• Process product returns, document and report repair and test results in a timely manner.

Operations

• Assist the Operations team with warehousing activities when required

Maintenance of the Workshop

• Routine maintenance of workshop plant & equipment

• Maintaining a safe work working area and practices in line with Company policy.

• Support and make recommendations for continuous improvement

Work, Health and Safety

• Actively understand and apply the Company’s Work, Health and Safety (WHS) policies and practices.

The Person:

The successful applicant must be a self-starter, committed, reliable and a team player with excellent customer service skills, and an outgoing nature.

Planning/time management is a key element in this role, applicants must be able to plan their own schedule.

Electronics; Electrical and/or Mechanical aptitude would be an advantage.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required and ability to work within a team environment.

Basic MS Office skills required (Outlook, Word and Excel)

Telephone support for customers
