The Role:
This is a permanent, full time role based at Puckapunyal Military Base, Australia's largest Defence training base. Puckapunyal is located just north of Melbourne, a simple drive up the Hume Highway from northern suburbs such as Craigieburn, Campbellfield & Wallan.

You will be working in a high performing team, within a large organisation with various avenues for growth and development. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all persons within the pool areas. The ability to provide outstanding customer service and work proactively to mitigate risks is vital.

Duties & responsibilities:
Monitor the pool, gym and exercise rooms to ensure safety.
Ensure facilities are safe and clean and maintaining a register of all pool bookings.
Ensure all pool facilities, toilets, showers and change rooms are clean.
Candidates must be willing to work weekdays and weekends.

What you’ll need to be successful:
Hold a current and valid Lifeguard certificate
Hold a current and valid First Aid level III certificate
Must have strong customer service skills.

How to apply:
The successful application for this role must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Baseline and be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test. As a result of this requirement the incumbent must be an Australian Citizen.
