The Company

Air & Lift Gear is a 30yr old company located on the Sunshine Coast

We sell and service Air Compressors, Vacuum Pumps and Nitrogen Generators. We also sell and inspect Lifting and Height Safety Gear.

The focus of our company is to supply strong technical support and professional levels of service to a diverse client base.

We have a team of Technicians, Sales Professionals, Store Staff and Administration. We offer interesting and varied work revolving around the installation, servicing and repair of Air Compressors, Vacuum Pumps and related equipment.

The Role

  • To promptly and efficiently carry out installation, electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair work to Air Compressors and related equipment.
  • Document all work, parameters and parts fitted.
  • Limited after hours on call requirement.
  • To carry out associated tasks as required from time to time as determined by the Service Manager.

About You

Electrical and industrial mechanical maintenance experience required, specifically with Air Compressor, Vacuum Pumps, Filtration and Air Dryers.

Excellent fault finding and diagnosis skills.

Good communication skills, comfortable interacting with a wide variety of clients, team members, sub contractors as well as the general public.

Excellent customer service skills.

  • Industry experience within Electrical Contracting
  • Hold a current QLD Electrical Work Licence, minimum 2 years
  • Certificates UEENEEG197A, UEENEEG123A & UEENEEG122A preferable
  • Hold a current QLD Driver Licence.
  • Hold a current Hight Risk Work Licence with EWP and LF as a minimum
  • Other Licences/ Training required: current First Aid, Blue/ White Construction Card,
  • Hold a current Working at Heights Licence
  • Willing to work limited overtime.
  • Be familiar with maintenance regimes.
  • Be willing to get your hands dirty
  • Are Computer literate
  • Ability to plan jobs, operate and maintain equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised.
  • Self motivated, energetic, proactive and results orientated.
  • A sense of humour.
