About the Role

We are seeking a trade qualified Mechanic to carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on a range of material handling equipment.

This position will be based at our Perth branch in Kewdale.

Responsibilities

Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components

Qualifications and requirements:
Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic)
Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry (desirable)
Supply your own comprehensive personal hand tool kit.

Good diagnostic and repair skills
Possess good problem solving and decision making skills
Good time management skills with the ability to work independently
Strong work ethic and self-motivation
Sound written and oral communication skills
