Pipefitter - Offshore Shutdown

The Company

Skout Solutions are proud to partner with a highly reputable operations, maintenance and construction organisation, operating globally in the resources industry. Our client is a complex and evolving business offering the high-profile projects, large-scale challenges and tailored support you need to achieve on the global stage.

The Role

Due to the potential award of a number of ongoing upstream oil, gas maintenance and modification projects, and brownfields projects, Skout Solutions are seeking a number of experienced & qualified tube-fitters immediately.

The role will see you performing scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance and construction activities on both static and rotating mechanical equipment. This role will see you working 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off roster, FIFO from Perth. Dates available late May, you must be available asap to attend an in clinic pre employment medical.

To be eligible for this role, you must reside in Western Australia and have prior experience on brownfields projects.

MSIC
TBOSIET (TFOET/BOSIET/FOET)
CA-EBS (Compressed Air Breathing)
Tubing & Fittings Install & Inspection (Prochem)
Boilermaking, Welding, Mechanical or Plumber Trade Certificate
Flange Management Level 1 & 2 (Camerons)
Working Safely at Heights
Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
Gas Test Atmospheres
HLTAID003 Provide First Aid
HLTAID001 CPR

Skills & Experience

Offshore experience essential
Brownfield Project Experience
5+ years' experience Tube Fitting in oil and gas industry
Competent developing, implementing and following risk assessments
Experience working under Permit to Work systems and adhering to Permit to Work conditions
Experience using Flange Management systems
Experience in maintenance & fault finding activities
Ability to follow process & procedures
Good knowledge of valves, piping systems and fittings
Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment
Excellent attitude towards health, safety & environment
