The Opportunity:
A new vacancy is available for an experienced Workshop Assembler to join the team in Welshpool. The purpose of this position is to contribute to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of quality and efficiency are given to the Remanufacturing of components within the WCRC.

Key Responsibilities:
Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of technical understanding of the design & function of Komatsu components and carry out all repairs to the highest quality.
Ability to demonstrate competencies of component inspections, repairs, testing and adjusting utilising relevant literature and testing equipment.
Ensure all repairs and tasks are performed within the set standard hours.
Ability to follow SWP’s and identify areas for improvement.
Clear communication of WIP status to the relevant leading hand.
Ensure that timesheets, service reports and relevant documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in the training of apprentices.

The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:
Trades certificate as a HD Fitter or relevant industry experience
Extensive knowledge and previous experience of the repair and overhaul of earthmoving equipment and components.
Ability to demonstrate competencies of testing components utilising associated test equipment
Ability to demonstrate technical fault diagnosis during dismantling and inspection process
Ability to generate technical reports to a professional standard utilising given formats of Microsoft office programs
Introductory knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
