Barwon Asset Solutions (BAS) is a 100% locally-based maintenance services company, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Barwon Water.

BAS provides high quality, smart, asset maintenance and project management services to Barwon Water, its customers and the community.

About the role

In this role, you will be fulfilling the customer’s needs by performing maintenance activities related to water, recycled water, sewer and land assets for numerous clients and customers.

The role has many different aspects. One day you may be performing land management, the next, working on water infrastructure within the Surf Coast/Colac Otway region.

You’ll work as part of a team that is dedicated to the provision of quality customer outcomes, with an emphasis on safety, timely and cost-effective delivery of water services.

What we’re looking for
A willingness to learn a new role, previous experience in providing maintenance solutions or field operations is advantageous.
Highly motivated to work safely, learn our processes and systems.
Ability to provide exceptional customer experience.
Collaborative team member who is self-motived and able to work self-sufficiently with a problem solving “can do” approach.
A willingness to participate in an on-call roster system and complete overtime to respond to out of hours’ operational events.
A current Victorian driver’s license is a mandatory requirement.
A pre-employment medical (including a health, drug and alcohol assessment) is required.
