Exciting permanent role of Procurement Specialist has become available in our Melbourne headquarters. Reporting to and assisting the Procurement Manager - Oceania, the main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Acting as a coordinator, support and editor of reports for the Procurement Team ensuring that studies / reports / outcomes produced are of the highest standard.
  • Responsible for training and mentoring the team in the fields of Sourcing, Risk Management, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Performance Management.
  • Leading complex Projects pertaining to the wider Operational area.
  • Deputising for the Procurement Manager and Chartering Negotiator as required.
The skills and attributes that we are looking for:
  • Excellent understanding of trade and procurement principles.
  • Qualified in Procurement, Finance, Logistics and/or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 3 years successfully handling domestic and international logistics issues.
  • High level of Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residence.
