Workforce camp chef

Chef for camp in central WA. Plenty of hours on offer with ongoing work after contract available in various locations around Australia.

About the Role

• Working alongside kitchen hand for 100 covers
• Buffet style food
• Combination of breakfast and dinner
• Start asap for 4-6 weeks
• Manual Drivers Licence is a MUST

About you

If you are trade qualified with three or more years’ experience, and you:

• Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills
• Can produce consistent quality
• Have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
• Own traditional uniform and knives
• Have experience in quality a la carte dining
• Have a keen eye with high attention to detail
• Would like to assist with menu planning and suggestions
• This is a creative role and provides the right candidate the opportunity to work within an excellent team.
• Enjoy the benefits of expanding your experience and knowledge.
• Have the experience and knowledge of menu design and costing controls.
• Have passion and enthusiasm to motivate a team.

The successful applicant will be a creative Chef who will receive complimentary:

• Transport to and from the Venue
• Suitable single accommodation
• Meals while on shift
• Competitive hourly rate for each hour you work including Public Holiday & weekend rates
