The Company:
Our client requires a qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their maintenance team in Sydney. They offer stability, career development, and great training programs. This position would suit an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable Maintenance Engineer.
You:
This position will involve purely workshop maintenance on their state of the art CNC machinery, CNC laser engraving machinery, printers, lathes and more.
You will be responsible for dismantling and assembling medium to large CNC’s, laser machinery, lathes and more within a fast-paced environment. Preventative and Predictive site maintenance on all their machinery, the chosen Fitter will help to reduce unplanned downtime and increase productivity within the manufacturing team. You will work with the Engineering Manager to plan and perform scheduled maintenance, assessing equipment, troubleshooting faults, mechanical fault/find, and repair, dismantle and rebuild the machines.

Daily Duties:
- Plan and perform a scheduled maintenance check on CNC Machinery
- Assist with standard operating procedures
- Repair breakdowns of CNC machinery
- Supervision and safety auditing of the machinery
- Dismantle machinery completely and rebuild to work more efficiently
- Troubleshoot, mechanical fault/find and repair
- New machinery installation
- Provide mechanical support any electrical support would be advantageous
- Work height and in confined spaces
- Routine welding
