An opportunity exists for an experienced Automotive Workshop Manager to join a rapidly growing team within a leading automotive business based in Salamander Bay.

We are after a natural leader, who is keen to make a difference and bring the best possible experience to customers from all walks of life. You will need to have previous experience running a busy automotive workshop or be a highly experienced Workshop foreman looking to take the next step into a more senior management role.

Essential for this role is that you be a qualified mechanic as you will need to assist your team from time to time as well as be active in the training of your apprentice and other team members. This role is within a busy workshop and will have you managing a hardworking and enthusiastic team.

The role will have you performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to;

• Sales and customer service
• Management of store budgets and KPI'S
• Customer service
• Booking jobs
• Accounts
• Invoicing
• Direct dealings with head office
• Allocating jobs to technicians
• Training and coaching of staff members
• Performing mechanical duties when required.
• Ordering of stock and parts
• Cash handling
• Opening and closing of the store

The successful applicant must also be available to work every second Saturday and be willing to jump on the tool with your team when required.
