Bakery Trainer
Banjo’s Bakery Café
We are currently seeking an experienced/qualified baker to join our Banjo’s Bakery team in various locations as a Bakery Trainer. This position will be based in Hobart.
As a Bakery Trainer, you will travel between various locations, including travelling interstate, training and mentoring baking teams and apprentice bakers. Trade qualifications in Cakes, Pastry and Bread essential and management experience preferred. Must be available 7 days a week.
Reporting directly to the Operations Department, your key roles and responsibilities will include:
Ensuring baking team achieves Banjo’s high standards of product quality
Support apprentices throughout their training
Ensure all other operational standards are met
Meeting all company KPIs including:
Wastage
Labour
Ingredient cost, etc
Passing knowledge to staff by way of training, discussion and leading by example
Other key requirements include, but are not limited to:
Effectively managing a great team of bakers who want to succeed
Encourage “out of the box thinking”
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude to problem solving
Career orientated and driven to succeed
