Work & Training, in conjunction with our valued Host business are pleased to offer this exciting Horticulture traineeship opportunity. Working with a team environment, the successful applicant will undertake a range of labouring and routine maintenance activities, including public gardens, reserves, play equipment, recreational facilities and ancillary infrastructure. Desired attributes

A genuine desire to work in this industry,
Be physically fit and not afraid to get your hands dirty,
The ability to undertake labouring tasks associated within the role,
Good understanding of WHS practices and procedures,
The ability to operate in a safe manner a range of small hand tools, plant and equipment relevant to the role,
Sounds literacy, numeracy and communication skills,
Be able to work effectively in a team and independently as required. Essential Attributes
Drivers licence
White card - or the ability to gain one
The ability to pass a pre-employment Medical with Drug and Alcohol testing.
