Full Job Description
Our client, a worldwide established irrigation company is seeking an experienced Sales and Irrigation Technician to join their growing team.

About you:
Cert III in Irrigation or relevant trade qualification.
At least 3 years’ work & sales experience in a similar role/industry.
Current Driver’s Licence.
Current MR Licence - desirable.
High level of customer service, positive attitude, initiative, drive, reliability, work autonomously with great planning & organisational skills to troubleshoot and problem-solve issues on site.
Strong product knowledge with demonstrated experience in maintenance of pumps
This role will require you to have both Irrigation Technician skills aswell as Customer Service and Sales skills. You will be working with clients and customers and working towards sales targets.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Irrigation Technician:
Liaise irrigation design information with design team.
Complete installation of irrigation and related components as for supplied designs.
Test automation/monitoring equipment.
Ongoing maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of existing systems.
Keep records and ensure jobs are completed to deadline.
Ensure safety standards are met and PPE is used.
Complete casual labour staff inductions.
Supervise labour staff and ensure their work environment is safe and hazard free.

Sales and Marketing:
Sales & marketing of N-Drip’s unique irrigation system.
Provide customers with sales support.
Develop strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, service providers, business associates and employees with daily follow-up on enquiries.
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes.
Assist and liaise with the General Manager and Sales Agronomist on a regular basis.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities, and potential for new products and services.
Ensure the company vehicle is always clean and well maintained.
