Full Job Description

Casual Position Available for Immediate Start.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience working with and in close proximity to, racehorses, including catching, leading, grooming, feeding, and stable/yard work.

Applicants with previous experience working with horses essential in a stable or farm environment. Horse welfare and knowledge is an advantage.

Duties include but not limited to;

General stable cleaning and maintenance
Feeding
Grooming
Loading horses on and off walkers
Rugging
Daily horse care and handling
Farm Maintenance

Successful applicants must be available to work rotating weekends, work as a team, be honest, and have a can-do attitude. Extensive experience in dealing with horses is required and above award, wages apply.

Hours will include but not limited to:
3 Days a Week split shifts 6:30am-10:30am / 3:00pm-5:00pm (6 hours Daily)
(additional hours during peak periods may be required)

Weekends (Every second Weekend is required)

Split Shift Saturday & Sunday

7am-9am / 3pm-5pm (4 hours each day)

The position involves manual labour; therefore, applicants must be physically fit, be able to follow instructions and be able to work as part of a team.

Casual Rate above award wage applies.
