The Project

One of Australia's largest underground hard rock mines with a long mine life located in South Australia.

• 2:2 roster - week of days/ week of nights - 2 weeks off - repeat
• Camp and meals provided
• FIFO from anywhere on the east coast
• Sandvik & Normet equipment
• Travel to site in company time

The Role

Work as an underground heavy diesel fitter working in a close-knit crew you will be responsible for;-

• Service and maintenance, diagnostics and repair of UG mining equipment throughout workshop and the field
• UG drill rig maintenance and repairs along with maintenance on drills, trucks, boggers and other ancillary plant

What's Required

A trade qualified diesel mechanic (or equivalent exp) with experience working on UG mining Sandvik drills & Normet equipment.

• Proven experience working in the field and the workshop on UG mining equipment
• Experience working autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Sandvik & Normet equipment experience (highly regarded)
