Job Description

We are a busy, well established, manufacturing jewellery business located in Hobart’s CBD, looking for a fully qualified and suitably experienced jeweller who would like to be part of a small but dynamic team.

We cover a wide range of designs and styles in store and don’t hold back taking in the smaller commissions.

We are looking for a jeweller who can work with all the metals and gem stones for hand making new bespoke jewellery items, along with remaking and quality repairs to new and antique items within a retail workshop environment. An ability to reproduce to design at a high standard is a must. We are an old school jewellers, We don't use CAD or 3D design, just good training and skills. Benches are fitted with air tack tools and vacuum extraction points.

Must have minimum and 8-10 years industry experience in manufacturing.

Reliable and motivated

Ability to work autonomously and take directions

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Skill set covering hand fabrication from scratch and all standard repairs.

Excellent time management and organisational skills and able work to deadlines.

Police check will be required.
