Our Queensland State Government client is seeking experienced Supervisors to join their teams across the South East Queensland region.

Multiple roles are available on the Gold Coast and Brisbane Inner South, West and North.

The initial contract will be engaged until 30th June 2021 with the view to extend longer term.

Duties:
Provide supervisory services to the delivery of construction, maintenance and upgrade works being undertaken
Provide inspection services in accordance with KPI’s, liaise with customers, subcontractors and other business areas
Complete scope works and provide estimates as required
Maintain a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring compliance across all activities
Certify completed works as per specification and defect rectification
Reporting

Skills & Experience:
Trade qualified (Carpentry) or Certificate IV in building and construction
Thorough knowledge of WHS and Asbestos management
Competent with general IT tasks including Microsoft Suite and Teams

It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives.
