The Opportunity

Due to continued strong business growth we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Category Merchandiser (known internally as Branch Range Coordinator) to work closely with our Senior Product Category Manager (Hardware) to develop and roll-out Bowen's Ultimate Trade hardware range.

This is an exciting, dynamic role for a career focused merchandiser to join the team and further enhance Bowen's merchandising and category management performance.

Key day to day responsibilities include:
Working with Senior Product Category Manager, Hardware to develop a hardware range to make Bowe'ns a destination for Trade Hardware
regularly review market and customer metrics to continually improve/enhance Bowen’s hardware range
Deliver, and or co-ordinate the delivery of, in-house product training programs to our Branch network
Provide guidance to our Branches on product positioning and displays to maximise sale opportunities
Support Bowen's key sales and innovation focus areas and adapt as they evolve including but not limited to Product in Focus, Showroom, Seminars and Expo

To be successful in this role you will need:
Intermediate analytical skills and ability to interpret data
Experience with range planning and development
Strong knowledge of trade hardware
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar field
Able to positively contribute and work as a team member as well as able to perform a variety of tasks autonomously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strategic, proactive, and collaborative attitude with the ability to effectively plan, organise and prioritise work.

A valid driver's licence is essential
