PEER is currently seeking recent 2nd, 3rd and 4th year electrical apprentices that are looking to re commence their contract of training.

If you are an apprentice who has become "Out of Trade" and are seeking to get back into work and finish your training, apply now!

To become a PEER Apprentice, you need to:

  • Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Hold a current drivers licence
  • Have your own reliable car
  • Be able to drive a manual vehicle
  • Be prepared to undergo drug and alcohol screening
  • Be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check

PEER Apprentices will, at times, be required to:

  • Travel up to 1 hour to and from work
  • Work industry hours between 6:00am and 6:00pm
  • Be available to work weekends
  • Work a reasonable amount of overtime
  • Work at heights, on ladders and on EWP equipment
  • Work in roof spaces
  • Work in Commercial, Domestic, Maintenance and Service sectors
  • Be physically fit and able to carry out manual handling activities
