The position of lift mechanic is a full time position reporting to the manager directly responsible for ensuring all maintenance work, repair works and upgrade works is handled efficiently and safely as they arise. The position requires experience in the lift industry and competence to install, maintain, service and repair electric and hydraulic passenger lifts, escalators, moving walkways and various lift systems.

The main responsibilities for the position include:

• Liaising with the design group to provide the best solution for the client
• Working with the General Manager to identify the best products and components
• Deciphering site-specific drawings and diagrams to determine correct practices and methods of installation.
• Correctly laying out to code all electrical apparatus.
• Competently evaluating fault and using relevant tools, identifying the repairing fault
• Competent in designing, installing, servicing and repairing all types of lifts in various
• industries
• Consult with customers to ascertain requirements as to the installation of the vertical
• transport.
• Procure the required materials to resolve the breakdown.
• Devise, implement and maintain best practice solutions.
• Ensure project scope is adhered to throughout installation process.

Salary $75,000 - $85,000 per year
