The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Designer to join the team, working on both brands under the HCMO banner (Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia and CablePrice New Zealand). Based in our Revesby office, your primary focus will be developing and maintaining a consistent brand identity across print and digital communication materials. Working within the marketing team, you will also:

• Work directly with HCA and CPL departments to identify requirements, develop strategy to elevate brand awareness and deliver creative assets to assigned projects
• Create multimedia and graphic concept designs and artwork for release across website, digital and print media, campaigns, EDM and marketing material
• Play an integral role in planning, proofing and testing print and digital marketing material
• Gauge effectiveness of projects through stakeholder management and communication, monitoring and reporting of analytical data and campaign lead statistics
• Maintaining and updating websites for HCA & CPL, digital channels and enhancement of SEO performance
• Maintain knowledge of design trends and consumer behaviour. Provide recommendations for internal and external photography, communications material and branding

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or equivalent
• Excellent understanding of branding and corporate identity
• Experience working within a corporate environment and marketing department
• Experience using Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Distiller)
• The ability to read and write HTML and CSS for website design and maintenance
• CRM experience - preferably Microsoft Dynamics or similar
