Trades Operations Manager job available with a market leading local business in Darwin- Immediate Start

Your new company
Our client is a locally operated manufacturer of roof trusses, wall frames and other building supplies. With a long standing in the Northern Territory since 1971.

Your new role
As the Trade Manager you will report to the Sales & Operations Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of the heavy building trade. You will ensure a smooth operation of the business by being proactive with plant, equipment and transport resource management. You will provide strong leadership, training and management to your team, whilst building and maintaining relationships with trade and retail customers.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate for the role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in management of large teams
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Stakeholder engagement, market analysis and strategic experience.
• Strong time management skills and ability to drive success.
• Ability to provide industry advice to clients
• A passion for mentorship and coaching to drive your team’s success.
• Forklift & Car license essential
