The Client

An amazing local Non for Profit organisation who specialise in Carpentry, Plastering, Painting, Landscaping, home modifications, decks, stairs and fit-outs is looking to add to their team. This is an ideal role for an experienced Carpenter who does not want to work on building sites, in the cold of winter and in highly physical roles. A great opportunity for a soon to retire Carpenter looking for a low impact role to see them through their last working years.

The Roles

As a qualified Carpenter you would join this amazing NFP and impart your knowledge on your clients while completing various projects. The work is completed across private housing properties and may consist of installing rails, ramps and all other home modifications in the Aged Care sector. You would be a natural leader who is capable of communicating with an aged clientele and making them feel comfortable in their homes.

On Offer

• Roles: Full time Carpenter
• Wages: Negotiable based on experience
• Location: Canberra wide
• Extras: NFP benefits apply which includes salary sacrificing up to $15K
• Company vehicle, Uniforms, all tools provided, Phone, extra 6 days AL per year
• Full training, accommodation and meals while being inducted, the option to spend a few weeks a year in other towns, fully funded with away from home penalties

You

You would be a Trade qualified Carpenter who enjoys helping people on the job whilst completing the work in a hands on capacity. You would have strong people management skills, conflict resolution skills, empathy and understanding. Your goal is to complete the work through compassionate communication and reliability. This role would suit a qualified tradie who wants to work on wages and give back to the community.
