About the Role:
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will receive training and gain relevant competencies whilst assisting in the construction, maintenance and operation of equipment relating to the Plumbing industry.

Duties Include:
Water - hot and cold water services and watering systems
Sanitary and Waste Disposal
Sustainable water solutions
Gas Fitting
Roof Plumbing
Mechanical Services

To become a PEER Apprentice, you need to:
Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Hold a current drivers licence
Have your own reliable car
Be able to drive a manual vehicle
Have completed a Certificate II trade related course or,
Be prepared to complete a PEER Pre-App course
Be prepared to undergo drug and alcohol screening
Be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check
Have completed Year 11 or 12
Have good numeracy and literacy skills
Be committed to a nominal four year training contract to achieve CPC32413 Certificate III in Plumbing

PEER Apprentices will, at times, be required to:
Travel up to 1 hour to and from work
Work industry hours between 6:00am and 6:00pm
Be available to work weekends
Work a reasonable amount of overtime
Work at heights, on ladders and on EWP equipment
Work in roof spaces
Work in Commercial, Domestic, Maintenance and Service sectors
Be physically fit and able to carry out manual handling activities
