About the Role

We are currently on the lookout for 3 Full Time or Part Time Stewards to join our dynamic and professional team in Australia. Seeking confident, responsible and hardworking candidates with a can-do attitude.

At Hyatt Regency Sydney, no two shifts will be the same. You will be required to perform general cleaning duties and tasks related to cleaning and storage of equipment as directed ensuring maximum guest satisfaction. You will be required to conduct your duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties and tasks related to cleaning and storage of equipment as directed ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Clean and store operating equipment.
• Clean and maintain areas according to guidelines.
• Exercise great care in use of operating equipment.
• Report any problems to the manager on duty.
• Work according to posted roster.
• To have a complete understanding of operations relating to stewarding.

• Must have previous hotel or restaurant experience in a similar role
• An ability to thrive under pressure and work in a high paced environment
• Good communication skills with a true passion for customer service
• Must be available to work on a rotating roster especially on weekends
