Full Job Description
This is a 1 year contract with possibility of 1 year extension (subject to approvals and business circumstances).
This is an exciting opportunity to embed yourself into this newly created position with the City. This key position will be responsible for developing and implementing information security policy, standards and procedures to contribute to and influence the improvement of the City’s cyber security posture, in accordance with ISO 27001.
We are seeking passionate candidates with a background in information security, with a focus on performing cyber security risk assessments to identify risks and recommending appropriate controls.
A key responsibility of this role will be to actively promote cyber security guidance and awareness throughout the organisation to improve the City’s security culture.
Whilst reporting directly to our Manager Information Services, this role will be collaborating and working closely with various IT teams.

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience).
