They specialize in machined parts and components for the automotive, defence, aerospace and other industries.

About the role

Due to continued expansion and growth, they are looking to hire a self-motivated CNC Machinist to join their Production team in Dandenong South. This position will require:

• Strong knowledge in setting and operating 3-axis CNC vertical milling machine
• Knowledge of cutting tools
• Demonstrated ability in reading technical drawings and working to tight tolerances

• Must be able to troubleshoot and optimize processes to achieve quality outcomes and objectives

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in setting and operating CNC 3-axis machines
• Experienced within Defence, Aerospace or Automotive industry is HIGHLY regarded
• Appropriate Trade qualifications is a must
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• High attention to detail and quality
• A strong work ethic and commitment to work within a small team
