McDermott Aviation is Australia’s largest, privately owned and operated Heli-Aviation Company; we have an exciting opportunity based in Jandakot, WA as a Full-Time Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Airbus Helicopter Fleet).

Qualifications & Experience Necessary

Current, type specific licenses:

- Airbus Helicopter AS365N2 & N3 airframe, rated with Aust. CASA & FAA acceptable licenses.

- Arriel 1C2 & 2C engine coverage, rated with Aust. CASA & FAA acceptable licenses.

- Airbus Helicopters AS355F1 airframe, rated with Aust. CASA acceptable license.

- Rolls Royce A250-C20F engine coverage, rated with Aust. CASA acceptable license.

- Minimum of 10 years' experience required on 2 or more of the above types.

- Applicant will be treated favourably to have previous Director of Maintenance experience and/or technical representative experience from Safran Helicopter Engines or Airbus Helicopters.

- FAA & CASA licences favourable.

Responsibilities Include:

- Carry out maintenance or aircraft to a high standard in accordance with OEM & - McDav approved data.

- Ensuring correct certification for aircraft maintenance is completed accurately and timely in accordance with procedures detailed in the McDav suite of manuals.

- Communicate with the Director of Maintenance of any deficiencies noted in the maintenance procedures manual & McDav suite of manuals with suggestion of remedial action.

- Reporting to the DoM details of any observed or detected major defects or major damage on any aircraft undergoing maintenance under the company certificate of approval inclusive of MEL procedures, communication & liaison with McDav Operations.
