About You

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced CNC Setter to oversee our machines. You will assist in the production of quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawing; our quality standards; and our customers specifications. You will be a highly skilled individual with excellent attention to detail and a mechanical aptitude. With an in-depth knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques, you will excel in this role. Whilst an engineering qualification would be advantageous, it is essential that you have at least 3 years’ experience as a CNC Machine Operator/Setter; strong analytical abilities and good computer and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

· Organise and communicate information

· Perform inspections to ISO 9001:2015

· Set and edit computer controlled machines and processes

· Perform complex lathe operations (2-4 Axis – Twin spindle)

· Interpret technical drawings

· Undertake manual handling

· Perform engineering and precision mechanical measurements

· Work safely and effectively

· Interact with computing technology

· Use hand and power tools

· Perform general machining and milling operations
