About Your Role

Our Protected Vehicles business is currently seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to assist in the service and repair our Bushmaster vehicles. You will carry out a variety of tasks to ensure that all servicing, repairs and upgrades are completed to meet customer expectations and deadlines.

This role is based on site in Enoggera with our Australian Defence Force customer and required a high level of customer service skill and stakeholder engagement.

  • Maintain 100% Customer focus and satisfaction by proactively addressing customer issues and concerns, communicating effectively and delivering in full, on time and within budget
  • Accurately complete all documentation associated with the role including job cards, JSEA’s etc
  • Actively report any quality issues or concerns and participate in the subsequent solution design utilising practical problem-solving tools
  • Be safety focused and committed to your own and your workmates safety

How About You?
  • Trade qualified as a heavy vehicle mechanic with recent experience working in a similar heavy vehicle environment
  • Ideally your qualifications also include MR Licence, PMV, Forklift licence and a HR licence (we have some flexibility if you don’t have all of these)
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering high quality customer satisfaction
  • Safety focused and be familiar with JSEA’s (SWMS or Take 5’s)
  • Willing to input into workshop process improvements to increase efficiencies where possible
