- Northern Beaches, Sydney Location
- Work in residential and commercial solar installations
- Permanent Full time or Contract
The Company
The company focuses mainly on residential solar PV and some commercial solar PV projects. Having operated for 12 years and being at a steep growth period now, our client has an opportunity for CEC accredited Solar PV Installers to join their dynamic and passionate installation team in North Sydney.
The Role
The Solar PV Installer Would Be Expected To Undertake The Following
The Solar PV Installer will install new rooftop systems, maintain and upgrade installed systems including undertaking fault finding and problem solving on existing systems comprising of panels, inverters and batteries.
- complete maintenance reports and all compliance-related documentation
- ensure that all work is completed on time and in line with the schedule
- capturing site images of installation for quality reporting purposes
- audits on Solar PV systems and compliance analysis.
- provide high quality customer service on and off site.
- review installation procedures and ensure best practice in delivery, safety and compliance
- observe all relevant Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements at all times
- the ability to work with trade assistants and guide them on installations, if required
The successful candidate will be a Registered Electrician and/or Electrical Contractor certified, be CEC accredited for solar PV grid-connected installations and have experience with solar PV rooftop installations. Other certificates and licenses would include a current and valid Driver’s License and working at Heights and Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card).

- Have strong work ethic and be able to think on your feet and problem solve.
- Fast accurate work with attention to detail and safety focus
- Good organisational and time management skills with a commitment to quality assurance
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously (unsupervised)
- Computer literate
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
